In a forum of its Red Letter Dodge blog to confirm that its SRT operation is not getting the cut. Last month, General Motors said it was disbanding its High Performance Vehicle Operations as a cost-cutting move.

“SRT is sticking around and we have to make final calls on the lineup,” said Steve Bartoli, Chrysler’s vice president for global product planning. “We are big fans of SRT, what it does for us and our customers.”

He added: “Yes, [Chrysler parent] Ceberus [sic] is committed to this cause.”

Chrysler’s SRT operation is responsible for such products as the Dodge Challenger SRT8, the Dodge Charger SRT8 and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.

Now thats good News a Challenger without a SRT hmm then you can also buy a Smart ha.

How about the New Performance Tuners for the Challenger any used some and what happend. Here I have a little description about a Popular Tuner.

Description

Forget every other tuning gadget, gizmo or device. Now that Hypertech has released its much-awaited Hypertech Max Energy Programmer, there’s no reason to load any other programming into your power plant.

Sure, Hypertech has made great programming units before. But, with the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer, they did it even better. Stock diesel rigs gain up to 176hp; gas can gain up to 57hp. The expertly-mapped tuning for your vehicle offers all the ponies you need at any RPM, even when towing up to 10,000lbs. And, it keeps heat low without de-fueling that kills your momentum.

Beyond unruly power, the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer is packed with trick features. Most vehicles can correct your speedometer and odometer for tire swaps up to 54″ in size. You can even check and clear engine trouble codes. And, it’s packed with programming for premium or regular fuel to save you cash. Plus, there’s a Lifetime Warranty, too. Discover the feel of your ride on Max Energy now.

Here a little about the New K&N Airintake for the Challenger and let us all know about your experience with K&N airintake

Description

Before K&N’s latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It’s what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N’s crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.
